While our office strives to give the Tulane community the best experience imaginable, there are standards we must enforce for the safety of all. See our policies below:
- We require all visitors to wear closed-toe shoes while browsing the surplus area.
- For security reasons, we do not allow for unaccompanied walk-throughs nor unscheduled visitation. Please request an appointment via emails.
- If picking up approved claimed property without the use of Campus Services, please bring enough manpower and proper PPE, including gloves and eye protection.
- We offer retired warehouse property primarily to recognized Tulane departments only and occasionally, to a non-profit and/or educational institution outside of Tulane University, should we experience overstock.
- As suppliers of used property, we do not guarantee longevity, issue warranties, nor make repairs on items claimed. All items are "As-Is" and transactions are final.
- Surplus shopping days and pickups will be limited to Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
- We hold claimed property for up to 10 days after selection. If not picked up by day 10, the claimed property will be made available for another department to claim.
